In addition, the group has extensive experience in workouts of troubled complex structured finance transactions and other bankruptcy-related issues. Our Mexico office acts for a number of lenders, funds and borrowers, particularly with regard to commercial property. We also have a great deal of experience in negotiating the terms of lending/security agreements and routinely advise borrowers and lenders on matters involving the procedures relating to the taking of grants and subsidies in Europe. We provide a full range of banking advice such as financial assistance clearance procedures; trade finance, factoring and invoice discounting.
Our Mexico office advises companies in the area of financing, including increases or decreases of their share capital as well as mezzanine financing by profit participation rights, silent partnerships or shareholders' loans. We have acted for lenders and creditors in the granting of guarantees and other collateral such as bank guarantees, share pledges,
mortgages, liens, and various terms of trade finance. We also advise financially troubled enterprises, in which, for example, imminent over indebtedness may be avoided or quickly eliminated by means of subordination of claims, letter of support and sale of receivables, factoring, leasing and similar measures. |
